Courier Fraud by book co.

This blog is just a word of caution for all those who are registering a new company.

We recently registered for a private limited company in the name of Geronimo Healthcare Solutions. Couple of days back, we received a VPP for which we were told to pay Rs.2184. Since I was not present at the registered address, I told not to collect the parcel and wanted to confirm before paying the money.

When checked online, got to know that this is a fraudulent company and the parcel contains nothing but junk books, about labour laws and irrelevant stuff like how to fire employees. The registered details of the Legend Book Co. is 1/9489, Rohtas Nagar West Gali no 7, Shahdara Delhi 110032.

On subsequent internet search, I also found out that lot of people who have registered new companies are getting such couriers. There was no record of purchase from any of these companies, and above all, the courier fellow was all the time yelling at them to pay the amount.

Kindly spread the word and let other people know about it.

It is a complete fraud game that this book co. is playing.

Thanks!

Democracy (LOL)

I have been constantly and very closely following up the whole ANNA PHENOMENON since it started and well yes!I'm supporting it whole heartedly though he is suppose to get the same unconditionally in the present state of affairs.

This blog post is specifically directed towards those people who are constantly pointing out, with no reasons behind their view point, that this movement is non-democratic or rather autocratic. So let me just do a little bit of reality check on what kind of democracy are we enjoying in our motherland.

We all know that the "Fundamental Rights" are the basic human rights of all citizens for the purpose preserving individual liberty and democratic principles based on equality of all members of society.

Coming to "Right to equality": not going into the details of the "SC/ST" aspect as it is anyway being misused as "vote bank politics" by our politicians, but being biased when it comes to religion has always been on agenda when it comes to any political party who comes in power. And how can I forget the incidences, when Raj Thakrey et al drove a movement against North Indians in Maharashtra or when young females from a Mangalore pub were literally pulled by hair and thrown out like a trash. Why the hell center did not intervene when everything was shown on television? Ofcourse it doesn't have balls to deal with thakreys anyway. Adding to this, one of my very close friend was beaten up by some marathi manoos hooligans in Maharashtra, just because he was with a girl at a secluded place? They beaten him up, showed him forcibly sit and watch some shivaji movie stuff (which I'm sure they might not have seen anytime) and took all his cash in the end. WOW! what a democratic country.

We all know what our government did to Baba Ram Dev and his followers who were peacefully sleeping in the night in Ramlila Maidan. To the worst, police lathi charged the same women and children, who also entitle the special rights even when it comes to equality, resulting which one of them actually got paralplegic. Is this a joke that has been made out of democracy? The answer is "YES". This is nothing but the "tanashahi" or "dictatorship" of our own government over common and harmless countrymen. The incidence is a clear example of breach of right to freedom of speech, expression and assembly. To the worst, Baba Ram Dev was made to leave Delhi. LOL! What he must have felt in such a democratic country.

Right against exploitation: Do you know the incidence where a 9 year old kid was serving tea to our Lok Sabha members? Yes it happened and surprisingly it was not just a factory or mine or a hazardous job where he was working in, but a fucking Lok Sabha of India. Well, let me not go into the details of human trafficking, as we all know how much it is prohibited at political level itself and how many ministers are involved, not only in human trafficking but also in sexual abuse of children as well (even in the present congress government)

These are just very few examples that I witnessed and remembered which really don't go with the so called democratic aspect of our country. But when it comes to corruption, suddenly our ministers and some media walas and friends start judging on the grounds of democracy and morality of individuals?

All said and done, to me this country is not 'Of the People, By the People and For the People' but it is "Of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians".

This is ain't democracy, it is dictatorship and we have to break this chain, the first step being the movement against corruption which is being done in a purely democratic way.

It is the first step towards improved India. Good things will follow after this. I'm sure.

Request to all Indians to stop discriminating among yourselves and think of a bright India for the coming generations.

Jai Hind!

Why doctors marry doctors..!

Yeah yeah...age factor, not completely though, compels me to write this blog after a very long time. Again not completely interested in the concept, but my parents want me to get arranged.

Previously, when I could not understand this shadi business (not that I still do), I observed that over 90% of the doctors actually marry a doctor. For my parents ease and my own preferences, I have completely no issues getting married to a non-doctor girl.

But the conversation down made me realize the fact that "Why actually doctors marry a doctor in general?

Family: So your son is a doctor..right?
Parents: Ya he is a doctor....(less they knew that what kind of a doctor I'm still)

Family: what is his age?
Parents: 27
(Family thinking: mmm...he must be old...good for our daughter, must be earning good by now and looking at the private practice sector these days, at 27 he must be earning atleast 1 lakh per month easily)
...who should explain them that doctors start making their comfortable living post 30 usually...

Family: So what specialty he has done?
Parents: He has done MD pharma
(since it is difficult to pronounce pharmacology, I suggested this simple word to my parents)

Family: Pharma? (eyes rolling)...kya apka beta davayiya banata hai? Does he owns a chemist shop or something?
Parents: No No! he is into business that is related to pharma industry.

Family: Business? You told us ki your son is a doctor? Isn't he practicing somewhere? in some hospital or something?
Parents: Actually he is a medical consultant for pharmaceutical companies. He told us he advises the companies and works as a medical advisor.

Family: Oh..is it? (thinking....never heard about it!!)
(now since even they might not be that much interested in what I'm doing only if I'm making some good money, the next question comes instantaneously)

Family: So how much is he earning?
Parents: Actually he has started his own business you see, and in business it is not fixed...but he told us that his company gave a good turn over last year.

Family: ok ok..we will get back too you on this...(thinking: this seems to be a very confusing match in the beginning itself)
Parents (among themselves): hamare beta aakhir kaar kar kya raha hai? kitna bola tha job lele...delhi me settle hoja...god knows what he is upto..."sigh"

Well yeah this is the usual difficulty that my parents are facing these days when they talk about me and my job to people who doesn't know ABC of medical profession. Of course it really does not matter to me that much, because they seem to be more interested in me getting married than I do and above all, I would anyway not like to get hooked to somebody who does not take any interest to know as what I do.

Now the next set of conversation, a hypothetical scenario so far, but would definitely set my parents at ease if the proposal is from doctor's family. And I'm pretty sure that the conversation would go something like that.

Family: So your son is a doctor...right?
Parents: Ya he is a doctor.

Family: has he done his MD?
(age question comes usually after this when you dealing with doctor's family; reasons we all know to core)
Parents: yes! he has done his MD in pharma...(pause)...

instantaneous response from family..."Oh you mean pharmacology right?"
Parents: (with a sigh of relief) yes! you guessed that right. It is MD pharmacology and he has topped in the university.

Family: what's his age?
Parents: he is 27

Family: he is just 27? when did he pass? which university/college? (trying to figure out if govt. or private)....
(we all know that learned doctors families usually don't entertain people who have given huge chunk of money to get MBBS/MD seats/degrees from private college as majority of them impart pathetic knowledge with hardly any patient experience)
Parents: he passed last year from goa medical college

Family: oh...(thinking: so he must have cleared entrance examination)..that is good....that means he did not waste even a single year of his life in getting into MBBS and MD as well?
Parents: no..he directly got admission one after the other post 12th.

Family: that's nice. So has he joined as a lecturer in some college or working as an advisor in pharma MNCs? We heard that there is lot of scope for medical doctors that side.
Parents: actually he was not that keen in teaching field. Though he was getting a very good job offer of 8 lakhs per annum in delhi itself, but he decided to start his own business

Family: oh....k...and what kind of business is that?
Parents: he told us that he is working as a medical consultant for pharma industry, that way he can actually be a medical advisor for multiple companies..he also suggested us ki this way he will be working for his own good and would grow his company gradually.

Family: that is fair enough but is he making good money?
Parents: ya so far so good...company put up a nice turn over last year and he is confident for the future also. He is paying a good rental of 15k per month for his mumbai flat and making a decent living for himself.

Family: really surprising that instead of getting a good package, he decided to venture out. That's pretty impressive
Parents: ya he keeps on telling us ki he has big dreams to chase and whatever he wants in life will always be out of his comfort zone, so he took a chance..

Family: that's good...anyways indeed it was pleasure talking to you...let our children meet...after all they have to stay together and not us...
Parents: ya sure..pleasure talking to you as well.

So, this is the basic difference and the reason as why doctors would like to marry a doctor..

Being a doctor in itself gives you a lot more professional compatibility with the other doctor that eventually leads to emotional stability to understand each other in a better way...

What choice do I have now?

"Wo to waqt hi batayega"!!

We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…
We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our cycle....
We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other…. How? No one knows…
We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours
We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary, drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around.
And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swag from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs....
We did not have Play Stations, MP3, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ... BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!
We called on friends to come out to play, never rang the doorbell, just went around the back…
We loved being let loose in the big bad world…without bodyguards…
We played with sticks and stones, played cowboys and Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…
We had freedom, success, disappointments and responsibilities. ...
Most of all, we learned to respect others…

Are YOU from that generation?? If that's the case, share this to all your friends from the same era…
Maybe this message will help them forget the stress that surrounds us these days….and just for a few moments puts a smile to their faces as they remember what life was really like in the good old days…… Don't you think??
Those were GREAT DAYS.....

Heart v/s Mind

Life is like one big "JHOL"..confusion in every aspect....right from such petty issues like should I do this or not? should I buy this pair jeans or that one? should I sleep for some more time? should i go to gym today? should i go out?...blah blah...

But some other big decisions which can really drive you mad are as what profession should I go for? should I follow my passion and try to make a living out of it or should I take up a regular job? Is she the one?

As I see it, the problem is we being confused in all this as our heart and mind are not thinking congruently. Our mind is rationale and very practical and majority of the people go by what it says and trust me they live more comfortable and subtle life. On the other hand heart is crazy, but people who follow it, if not comfortable will see life in a way exciting way than the rest. They are the people who know the worth of happiness and sadness. They are the risk takers who believe in themselves and think that anything and everything is possible.

Even I believe in following my heart no matter whatever it says. And the best part in following your heart is what so ever be the result, you will no doubt experience an extreme excitement across the path, the journey...and most of the time, you will realize that the destination too will be worth going for..

Just read these lines in the early morning and felt pretty good about it.
"The only way to get what you really want, is to know what you really want.
And the only way to know what you really want, is to know yourself. And
the only way to know yourself, is to be yourself. And the only way to be
yourself is to listen to your heart." - Mike Dooley

So what you think about it?

Money and happiness...

It's been years that I'm discussing this issue right from my childhood to my adulthood. Might be because I never had enough money at any given point of time. Off late, though I'm not making as much money as I should before writing this blog, but so far I'm having a comfortable living and happy to sustain myself in a much better way..

All said and done, my friends will be surprised to see this perspective of mine..but now I can clearly state the fact that "Money can not buy happiness"..it is the family, friends, your companion, your thoughts and pursuing your passion or love to work attitude, that are all the way anytime more important that can make you happy..

Yesterday while watching the CWG closing ceremony, kalmadi dint seem to be as happy as all the poor dancers and kids who were literally enjoying each and every moment of their passion..or the artists who were singing on stage..that says it all!

My quest is finally over...but no doubt there are many things that money can take care of and that's what makes it really important. But happiness...??? "nah":)

Be Happy Right Now by Crystal Boyd

Its been such a long time that I'm not keeping good health and was really disturbed before I read write up by Cystal Boyd...difficult to apply but not impossible..

"The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?

Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Alfred D Souza said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time ... and remember that time waits for no one...

So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy..."

THE FIVE AGREEMENTS By Don Miguel Ruiz

Found them really powerful, practical and can be applied to make our mind "Chillax" with the usual disturbances in and around life!

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment. It will be different when you are healthy as opposed to when you are sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

5. Be Skeptical, But Learn to Listen
Don’t believe yourself or anybody else. Use the power of doubt to question everything you hear: Is it really the truth? Listen to the intent behind the words, and you will understand the real message.

Arrogance diminishes wisdom!!

I just shifted to a new apartment here in Mumbai and fortunately music followed me here as well. Besides playing my first solo song on the eve of independence day, I got the opportunity to attend this rare event. "Rare" why? because I correlated with the scenario at my home and we have never organized such a thing anytime.

Scene:
A group of elderly people (I was the youngest among the lot) relaxing on comfortable sofas and couches and listening to real time ghazals by one of the "not so known" but excellent white haired classical singer. No doubt he was really good and knew his stuff well. Singing was great and I started kind of respecting the whole concept. I thanked god for being invited for this event by the owners of home.

I got so engrossed into it that could not resist myself to request them if I could sing one ghazal. Got the green signal and sang "Baat niklegi" by Jagjit Singh. Now my friends know that I'm the happiest guy when I perform well and so was I after singing the same. One of the elderly females showed me "Thumbs Up" and other guy asked me if I'm taking some sot of training. Ofcourse I'm not, its just my hobby and that's what I told them.

Now comes the ugly part...
In front of everyone, the same main guy whom I thought to be having real wisdom of music, started criticizing me badly. So badly that I could not believe the way he was making sarcastic remarks on my singing. And to my utter surprise, he sang the same ghazal once again and specifically pointed out the couple of mistakes that I did while singing.

I stayed there for some more time but left without dinner, which they wanted to offer me as well. I decided not to go there ever from now and listen to him again. His arrogance and ego diminished his wisdom in my view, and no matter how good he must be, I won't be able to enjoy his singing ever. Not because he insulted me, but his attitude towards an artist was bad.

The same thing happened to me when it comes to Daler Mahendi and Abhijeet. The former one, when he said in one of the interviews after his first album "Bolo Tara Tara" became hit: "Are MJ to bachpan se laga hua hai, meri abhi ek hi album ayi hai aur dekho main kitna popular ho gaya hu". Yes! the guy is talking about legend Michael Jackson..LOLZ! Abhijeet controversial statements against one of the finest singers of pakistan, Atif Aslam, landed him nowhere. We know now that who is getting more work these days. Abhijeet lost his charm of singing when once upon a time he used to sing songs for King Khan.

Who knows this ghazal singer, whom I had an encounter with, might have been a popular guy in the industry rather than entertaining the bunch of elderly guys at home..

For making a great mark in this world, besides being good at your passion, you need to keep the wisdom alive...your arrogance might just nullify the positive aspect of your talent!!

Who is your mentor...??

Whenever we read about jihadis killing people mercilessly, committing suicides to rest in peace in the arms of allah, we keep wondering as how the fuck it is anyway possible that a human being kills the other human being without a sign of guilt?

But have you anytime realized that why you feel guilty of yourself when you do something which your parents or say mentor told you not to do? The point is you still might not know that whatever your parents have told you is right or wrong. But since you belong to them since you are born, you are conditioned to certain perspectives which they fed you with.

If you are lucky to have mentors who themselves were pure souls, you will follow them and do good to the community..but if you have mentors who are extremists and religious fanatics, before you realize what's right or wrong in the real sense, you are conditioned to the extent that what is "not good" for the rest of the people around you, you might find it to be "perfectly alright" for yourself.

The scenario, whether being "good or bad"...the mind set of both the types of the people are same..just that for "bad jihadis", its good to kill people and for "good people" its again good not to kill anybody for that matter!
