Democracy (LOL)

I have been constantly and very closely following up the whole ANNA PHENOMENON since it started and well yes!I'm supporting it whole heartedly though he is suppose to get the same unconditionally in the present state of affairs.

This blog post is specifically directed towards those people who are constantly pointing out, with no reasons behind their view point, that this movement is non-democratic or rather autocratic. So let me just do a little bit of reality check on what kind of democracy are we enjoying in our motherland.

We all know that the "Fundamental Rights" are the basic human rights of all citizens for the purpose preserving individual liberty and democratic principles based on equality of all members of society.

Coming to "Right to equality": not going into the details of the "SC/ST" aspect as it is anyway being misused as "vote bank politics" by our politicians, but being biased when it comes to religion has always been on agenda when it comes to any political party who comes in power. And how can I forget the incidences, when Raj Thakrey et al drove a movement against North Indians in Maharashtra or when young females from a Mangalore pub were literally pulled by hair and thrown out like a trash. Why the hell center did not intervene when everything was shown on television? Ofcourse it doesn't have balls to deal with thakreys anyway. Adding to this, one of my very close friend was beaten up by some marathi manoos hooligans in Maharashtra, just because he was with a girl at a secluded place? They beaten him up, showed him forcibly sit and watch some shivaji movie stuff (which I'm sure they might not have seen anytime) and took all his cash in the end. WOW! what a democratic country.

We all know what our government did to Baba Ram Dev and his followers who were peacefully sleeping in the night in Ramlila Maidan. To the worst, police lathi charged the same women and children, who also entitle the special rights even when it comes to equality, resulting which one of them actually got paralplegic. Is this a joke that has been made out of democracy? The answer is "YES". This is nothing but the "tanashahi" or "dictatorship" of our own government over common and harmless countrymen. The incidence is a clear example of breach of right to freedom of speech, expression and assembly. To the worst, Baba Ram Dev was made to leave Delhi. LOL! What he must have felt in such a democratic country.

Right against exploitation: Do you know the incidence where a 9 year old kid was serving tea to our Lok Sabha members? Yes it happened and surprisingly it was not just a factory or mine or a hazardous job where he was working in, but a fucking Lok Sabha of India. Well, let me not go into the details of human trafficking, as we all know how much it is prohibited at political level itself and how many ministers are involved, not only in human trafficking but also in sexual abuse of children as well (even in the present congress government)

These are just very few examples that I witnessed and remembered which really don't go with the so called democratic aspect of our country. But when it comes to corruption, suddenly our ministers and some media walas and friends start judging on the grounds of democracy and morality of individuals?

All said and done, to me this country is not 'Of the People, By the People and For the People' but it is "Of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians".

This is ain't democracy, it is dictatorship and we have to break this chain, the first step being the movement against corruption which is being done in a purely democratic way.

It is the first step towards improved India. Good things will follow after this. I'm sure.

Request to all Indians to stop discriminating among yourselves and think of a bright India for the coming generations.

Jai Hind!
